Earlier today I caught news of this story - a group of soldiers deployed to Afghanistan had every single little bit of their personal items and gear STOLEN!!
Responses from all over the world have offered to replace all of the personal care items - but what about the gear I said!??!?!? They need their gear!!
As many of you know, Simple Survival is just too small as a company to bare the burden of a huge donation - but we are offering to help replace as much of their gear as we can, at our cost, with absolutely no retail markup at all. (heck, we might even get them some better stuff!).

Simple Survival even made the local news in NC. I did a phone interview with Jennifer Moxley of News 14 earlier today.
Everyone, please keep in mind that we are all in this together - no matter what our differences are, we all have the power to reach out to those in need. Some causes might move us stronger than others, and this one moved ME!
